GENERAL INFORMATION

Registration and Badge Scanning

Registration will be open per the schedule below:
March 5 from 15:00hrs
March 6 from 07:30 hrs
March 7 from 07:30 hrs

Badges will be issued upon registration and must be worn at all times during the symposium.
Badges will be scanned at the entry point to the symposium sessions and anyone without a badge will be refused entry to the session hall.

Food and Beverage

Complimentary tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided in the morning and afternoon coffee breaks. Lunch will be provided during the designated lunch period.

Non-Smoking Policy

Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors and Caregivers. In keeping with this, smoking or the use of any tobacco product is prohibited across the entire medical campus, including all indoor spaces, car parks and surrounding outdoor grounds.

Parking Facilities

Self-Parking

Guests are invited to self-park in Levels P1 or P2. Look for the parking signage for access to one of the several car parks, all within the medical campus.

Valet Parking

Valet parking is reserved for patients only.

Prayer Rooms

A total of 26 men’s and women’s prayer rooms and ablution (wudu) facilities are located across the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi medical campus and are accessible 24/7. Prayer rooms and wudu facilities are located in the Gallery, Patient Tower, Intensive Care Unit, Clinic and Diagnostic & Testing blocks.

Hotel Accommodation

The hotels that are within walking distance to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi are Rosewood Hotel Abu Dhabi and Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi. To learn more about the hotels and make a reservation, you may visit their websites.

Wi-Fi

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hospital. To connect to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Wi-Fi network, select network name CCAD_Guest from a Wi-Fi enabled services device and accept the Terms & Conditions displayed.

CME accreditation for this educational activity is in process.

Program Information

The Organizer will do its utmost effort to ensure the accuracy of the information presented online in regards to the program, speakers, and participants. However, it will not be liable in the unexpected event that a speaker does not attend the conference or the timings of a session must be altered.

The Organizer reserve the right “in extreme circumstances” to change the time and meeting venue.

The Organizer accepts no responsibility for the views or opinions expressed by the speakers, chairmen, moderators or any other persons at the event.

Registration Substitutions and Cancellation Policy

If a registered delegate cannot attend the event, a substitute colleague may be accepted before 20th February, 2020. After this date, cancellation fees apply.

Requests for substitutions will only be accepted by e-mail to internalmedicine@mci-group.com, indicating the delegate registration ID and the name of substitute. Please note that the substitute delegate must be from the same organization.

If a delegate has to cancel his/her registration before 20th February 2020, the full registration fee will be reimbursed (less USD 100 / AED 365 refund charge).

100% cancellation charges will be applied for cancellations received after 20th February 2020.

No-shows will not qualify for a refund. Reimbursement will not be given for early termination of attendance. All the refunds of any transaction amount against any purchase through this website would be refunded to the original mode of payment.

Insurance

The Professional Conference Organizers and Organizers of the Conference cannot accept liability for personal accidents or loss of or damage to private property of participants either during or indirectly arising from the Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi’s Internal Medicine Update taking place on March 5-7, 2020. Participants should make their own arrangements with respect to health and travel insurance.

Language

The official language of the event is English.

Visa

The following categories of visitors may receive their visit visa at the airport, upon arrival:
If you are a national citizen of a GCC country you do not require a visa to visit the UAE. You will simply need to produce your GCC country passport upon arrival at the point of entry into the UAE.

GCC Residents who are not GCC nationals but who have a high professional status such as company managers, business people, auditors, accountants, doctors, engineers, pharmacists, or employees working in the public sector, their families, drivers and personal staff sponsored by them, are eligible for a non-renewable 30-day visa upon arrival at the approved ports of entry.

National citizens of the following countries: UK (with the right of abode in UK), France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Portugal, Ireland, Greece, Finland, Spain, Monaco, Vatican, Iceland, Andorra, San Marino, Liechtenstein, United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Brunei, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and holders of Hong Kong SAR passports will be granted a free of charge visa for a single visit upon arrival in the UAE.

It should be noted that this list may vary slightly from time to time and it is therefore best to check with your local UAE embassy or the airline that you are using to fly to the UAE.

If you do NOT fall into one of the above categories, you will require a visa.

For visa assistance, kindly contact your nearest U.A.E. Embassy/Consulate or consult the Hotel or Travel Agency whom you have used to book and confirm your stay in the UAE.
